Short Version:
The drinks are delicious! More importantly, the people (!!!!) - if you believe in supporting amazing human beings, go to CJ's!
Long Version:
I was attending a conference in Miami and when I wrapped up, I decided to drive my rental car out to Miami Beach for a swim. I parked across from CJ's, took my towel and car keys, and swam for about 25 minutes. When I got out of the water, all my stuff was gone. I asked a couple and they told me they saw someone take my stuff a few minutes before. I ran in the direction they pointed me and did not see anyone carrying my sandals, towel, or t-shirt. I checked on my car, and thankfully, it was still sitting in front of CJ's. I left my phone and wallet inside the car, so I had *nothing* on me and no access to my stuff since my keys were stolen. I walked up to the host in front of CJ's, shirtless, barefoot, dripping wet, and asked for help. I needed someone to take a chance on me. What transpired was a 4+ hour nightmare of trying to figure out what I'm going to do with this rental car in a 2-hour parking zone, how I'm going to access my stuff inside this rental car, how to file a police report, and how I'm gonna get back to my hotel. Bryce, the owner, took special care of me. He offered me his personal cell phone and the business' landline to make my calls on *his* patio. He gave me water and a CJ's t-shirt to keep me warm. He helped keep my spirits up and regularly checked in on me. I needed someone and the staff at CJ's *really* went out on a limb for me. Special thank you to Laura who was also super nice to me, even offering me her own spare sweatpants and sweatshirt to keep me warm.
I did not eat anything while waiting there (I didn't have access to my wallet until the end of this nightmare), but everything looked amazing. I did have a few drinks, courtesy of Bryce, and I can definitely recommend the mixed drinks.
Bryce told me he was doing this because he'd want to be treated this way. I believe in frequenting establishments with great people and if you do too, go visit CJ's. I'll be back the next time I'm in town. -

The service we had here was by far the best customer service we received the entire time while in Miami. I had the grouper. This my first time ever eating it and boy was is cooked to perfection!!! OMG! Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Every time I'm in Miami, I will definitely be back for the good times and the great food!
Oh yea, we actually came here twice during our trip. The first time was just to get oysters. The oyster Rockefeller are mighty delicious as well!! -

A little pricey but good flavors.
I was on the hunt for a good grouper dish and I found it here at CJs. Normally I get grouper in a sandwich but I decided to try something different today. The "grouper in a bag" actually came wrapped in a parchment bag, along with cheese, tomatoes, and jalapenos. Combined together, they made a great dish. The free bread was also really amazing.
The food took a long time to out; I assume the cooking in a bag method takes a long time.
Service was attentive, but not the friendliest. Also they auto-charged me 20% for tip, which I feel the staff members deserved, but would like for myself to decide that.
The area is extremely crowded and parking is insane. There were also a handful of club promoters that would walk up to you and try to hustle you for money. -

Total waste of time and money. The place wasn't very crowded yet the server was extremely inattentive. Order based off of her recommendation and my food was horrible. It was bland and tasteless, basically just a wet piece of fish. Will not be returning

It's right across from the beach, great music and environment. The server was really nice and had great suggestions on the best drinks and food. The food was delicious, would definitely go again when in Miami.
